As the leader of this funky, swinging, melodic, laid-back rock and roll band, John Richardson handles guitar and lead vocals. He switched from the drums to guitar six months before Woodstock and has been pursuing the elusive muse of good tone, good time, and good taste in countless gigs and sessions in the US and in Europe ever since. Past band-mates have included Paul Naste (Savoy Brown), Nick Prout (Grammy award winner), Bruce Katz (Bruce Katz Band, Levon Helm, Ronnie Earl).

Giant Drummer

Hudson Bunce, thanks to a full mustache, started playing nightclubs at the age of 16. The 70’s were spent playing five to six nights a week in LA, the casinos of Las Vegas and Reno as well as touring the US with various show bands.

Moving to Boston in 1980, Hudson became a well-known recording artist, club musician, and first call session drummer. As a studio singer/vocalist, he recorded on ten albums that were distributed nationally.

In 1999 Hudson moved to San Francisco, playing Latin music at the Cigar Bar or Club Jazz Nouveau, jazz at the Ritz, Fairmont, Mark Hopkins, swinging hard or playing funk and rock at Enrico’s, Amnesia, the Black Cat, the Last Day Saloon, Tongue and Groove, Boom Boom Room or the Justice League.

Dan Beck, a native of the SF Bay Area, began playing guitar at around the age of 12 and took up the bass guitar a few years later. He was a co-founder and bass player in the T-Birds and later played bass in Ace in the Hole. Dan was later enlisted to play guitar in the bands Frolic and Detour and Lip Service in the seventies and early eighties.

In 2007 Dan decided to get back into playing the bass. He was fortunate enough to hook up with the Texas Specials and the Hollywood Jenkins Blues Band and is now currently playing with the John Richardson Band, the Teddy Boys and the Texas Specials
